When
travel takes you away, bring your dog for a truly home away from
home experience. Whether it’s for a single night, a full week, a month or
more, your dog will enjoy Double Dog Dare You, located in
beautiful McKinney,
Texas. Our boarding guests spend play-filled days
interacting with dogs of similar size and temperament. We
provide
constant supervision in our 2/3 acre, securely fenced yard. All
dogs enjoy the human interaction they are given several times a
day. Each dog gets a personal kennel for sleeping and eating in our 800
sq ft temperature controlled indoor facility. Potty breaks are given
several times a day, including late night and early morning, to
assure your dogs are always comfortable, especially our puppy
guests.
When
boarding your dog we recommend that you bring the food your dog
is accustomed to eating, so that your dog’s diet is not upset, while
boarding with us. We will gladly accommodate diets that
require
refrigeration. Bedding will be provided, but you may bring a
special bed or blanket. It is recommended that you not bring
anything of great value.
If you
have something you think will make your dog’s stay more
enjoyable please feel free to call us at (469) 939-1555 and discuss it with us. We
will accommodate as best we can. Our goal is to make your dogs
stay as comfortable and fun-filled as possible and provide their
masters with the piece of mind that their family members are
treated as good if not better than they would be in their own
home.
We are
available to receive or release our guests 7 days a week from 7am-9pm. Please call ahead to let us know
when you will be arriving or picking up. It will make your
delivery and pick-up go much more smoothly.
Dogs just
love daycare at Double Dog Dare You. With ample room to play,
lots of human attention and plenty of canine companionship, it’s
just the thing for the bored, stressed or lonely pet. If you
work long hours, daycare benefits both you and your pet.
A typical
day at Double Dog Dare You begins at 7:00 AM when our dogs
visitors first
arrive. They are grouped into individual playgroups according
to their size and temperament and get lots of playtime in the
large yard. When they aren’t playing in the yard they will have
an opportunity to relax, drink and or eat after a fun-filled
morning. Afterward, your dog will again have the opportunity to
romp and play with other dogs, getting lots of exercise.
